The time has come for significant changes in Sotrender. Now reborn, it is better, clearer and more user-friendly than ever! Sotrender will help improve your business performance on platforms such as Facebook, Twitter and YouTube. Not only have we rebuilt and redesigned our website, we have also improved our payment system.

The metamorphosis of our service is only an excuse to present our completely new approach to social media analysis which now reflects how businesses should maintain their social media presence. From now on, our pricing is based on the number of brands you observe with all social media channels included for each brand.

New & transparent app design

We rebuilt and simplified the app panel so that using it is more comfortable and intuitive. We changed the dashboard, which is the first screen visible after logging in. There you can see the 3 most important indicators which reflect the reach, engagement and activity for every brand within each channel.

The new Sotrender panel is based on two separate menus – the top menu, which presents the analyzed channels, and the side menu on the left, which lists your chosen profiles. After clicking on the menu it rolls out to allow you to choose your menu option. The side menu presents social media metrics grouped into categories in accordance with the measurement scheme we have adopted: reach, engagement, audience, customer service, admin’s work.

We introduced a few new features and improved existing ones. The majority of the changes concerned various Facebook communication measurement categories.

Automatic reports: automatic PDF reports are our customers’ favorite feature, this is why they are more visible on the top of the side menu.

Reach: reach statistics based on Facebook Insights are now divided in two parts:

  •     Reach – showing the number of users reached organically, virally and by paid reach.
  •     Frequency – in which we show total reach, views and daily frequency of contacts with one user.

We also added a new screen called Fan Sources showing where the new fans come from.

Engagement: On the activity screen you now find only user activities (likes, comments etc.), we moved profile activities to a new category called “Admin’s Work”. We placed our Interactivity Index and Relative Interactivity metrics in activities. We also resigned the “People Talking About This” indicator, because of its heterogeneous nature (joining engagements) and complicated way of counting (sliding average for several days) it made it difficult to interpret. Facebook itself is backing away from this type of indicator.

Content: we added a new screen called “Post Types”, where we summarized various types of communication in a given time period. You can also observe Facebook Insights for Posts concerning your profiles – detailed reach change over time statistics (*private data must be activated).

Audience: we greatly expanded this area. You now can find here all available information on people reached by your communication: Gender & Age (only for your profiles), Countries, Community Ranking showing engaged fans with division into segments, and Segmentation showing the share of various segments in all engaged users.

Customer Service: this category still presents the number of user posts and brand Reaction statistics, as well as an aggregated view of all user Posts. However, you should expect some radical changes here in the next few months.

Admin’s Work: brand new category summarizing all admin activities and their Interactivity Index. You find here detailed information on various activities in a given time period, sorted by days, weeks, weekdays and hours.

We made fewer changes to Twitter and YouTube metrics. We created the same outline for Twitter profiles and YouTube channels. We grouped together the Engagement indicators and, for Twitter only, we have extracted Admin’s Work, just like we did for Facebook. The classic Software as a Service (SaaS) model: client service and acquisition online is getting more and more important in our growth strategy. This is the reason why we simplified registration for Sotrender. If you want to try out what the tool is capable of, we have a free demo, that shows all Sotrender’s analytical abilities for Facebook, YouTube and Twitter, based on profiles chosen by us. If you want to check the data for your profiles, try a free trial for one of our new subscription plans. During the trial you can use Sotrender for 14 days for your own pages, profiles, channels and campaigns. The creator feature helps you activate platforms and add profiles.

We have also improved and broadened the Settings tab, where you can manage your own account, profiles, payments and users.

On February 5th 2015 we announced a new pricing model with new subscription plans. Now, you will be charged based on the number of brands that you can analyze using Sotrender with data for Facebook, Twitter and YouTube included for each brand.

Each subscription tier is limited to a certain number of brands. For every brand you can add a Facebook page, a Twitter profile and a YouTube channel. New subscription plans: Bronze, Silver, Gold and Platinum enable analysis for 1, 3, 8 and 20 brands, respectively. The price includes all kinds of analytics, but in Bronze and Silver plans the maximum profile size is limited. If you find our subscription plans do not suit your business get in touch with us – we will prepare a custom plan according to your requirements.

We also gave our current clients a choice. They can either remain with their existing plan or migrate to a new plan, which we strongly recommend.

Having changed so much in Sotrender, we decided to rebuild our website. It now better reflects our way of thinking about Sotrender’s advantages and applications. We also refreshed our application capabilities description.
